touring kayaks. The cut away back panel sits above the seat for a more comfortable paddling position. Lightweight and slimline‚ this PFD is easy to use‚ with a simple zip entry‚ secure waist buckle closure and useful zipped pocket for your belongings. It comes in a men’s and women’s cut, and is designed to be comfortable, hard wearing and really easy to just throw on and go paddling.

Atlas jacket
On or off the water‚ the Atlas multi-sport jacket is a great choice whether belaying‚ biking‚ boating or paddleboarding. It’s made from waterproof‚ breathable and durable 2.5-layer fabric, with a full front zip opening and a drawcord adjustable dropped hem waist. If lifting boats, raising arms belaying or paddling, the ExoSkin inner wrist seal with velcro adjustable cuffs saves you from that rush of water down your sleeves. The Atlas jacket has two large YKK AquaGuard zipped front pockets for personal items and a volume adjustable hood, to fit your head whether you’re wearing your helmet or not.

Blaze series
The Blaze longjohn, pants and shorts are Palm’s premium 3 mm cold-water neoprene
series. Supple, warm and quick-drying, they are made from extremely stretchy Neospan neoprene reinforced with Supratex in high wear areas where it’s needed. The Neospan is more supple than standard neoprene, it is also made from limestone, so there are no petrochemicals used to make it.

The Blaze longjohn has a Quick Dry lining which drains and is dry to the touch much faster than conventional wetsuits, making this suit a joy to put on. It has a classic longjohn design with full length two-way front entry zipper and Supratex reinforced panels. The Blaze pants and shorts feature a plush Thermofibre lining, is cut higher at the back to suit a paddling posture, and also has Supratex reinforced panels in high wear areas.

The whole series has a tailored fit, with the stretch of the neoprene enhanced by lumbar and knee shaped panels. They are glued and blind stitched with GlideSkin neoprene seals to keep out the water so you stay comfortable – perfectly at home in cold water.

Palm Equipment continues to support the Free Rivers Fund by donating 1% of its profit on all whitewater PFD sales. Paddlers spend much of their free time in and around rivers, and as such are acutely aware of the constant threat of dam building which affects the few pristine, free-flowing rivers we have left. Palm’s contributions are aimed at supporting projects that help maintain free-flowing rivers and fight the hydro developments which threaten our environment, draining the life from our rivers and the sport we all love.

This year, Free Rivers Fund has selected to support two projects in particular –
Marañón Waterkeeper and Center for Environment (CfE). Marañón Waterkeeper works
to protect the Marañón River, the hydrological source of the Amazon, and the Center for Environment (CfE) runs campaigns against hydropower plants in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
