Head of Paddlesports at Glenmore Lodge, Dave Rossetter, has joined Peak UK as a sponsored ambassador. The partnership is aimed at creating new products, influencing designs and promoting the Peak UK product range.
Peak UK, is a rapidly growing paddle sportswear company which was formed in 1990, now 25 years on it is one of the world’s leading brands of kayaking wear. The brand has supported Glenmore Lodge for twelve years which has seen a range of their kit for all paddlesport students as well as supporting the core and freelance instructional staff.
Dave is a Level 5 Inland, Canoe and Level 3 Sea certified coach, having paddled and led trips in a range of breathtaking countries around the world – primarily in canoe and white water kayak, he continues to work with British Canoeing (BC) on developing the range of safety, personal performance, leadership and coaching awards. He has also set up and run one of the first specialist canoe and kayak schools in the UK before coming to Glenmore Lodge to take on the role as Head of Paddlesports in 2014.
Coming on board as a Peak UK ambassador will see Dave influence, test and provide feedback on a range of product designs including PFD’s, jackets, one pieces top decks and spray decks. He says: “I am delighted to be working with Peak UK, they pride themselves on being world class innovators and it’s a real honour to be working so closely with them. We actively seek to work with a range of like-minded industry partners, and with support from companies like Peak UK we continuously have access to best possible clothing and equipment and play an active role with influencing designs”.
